My sister, my brother and I were always taught to be grateful. Grateful for good fortune - those sunny days or even months when everything goes your way and happiness, it seems, is yours for the taking. We were also taught, though, to be thankful for unanswered prayers and desires, which in hindsight, were often good fortune in disguise. There have been a few moments in my life where it seemed at the time that if I did not "get" what I was hoping for, the world would be a bleak and desolate place. I just couldn't possibly go on. Life was painful for awhile, not necessarily because of the event itself, but of course due to my attitude about the event. Then, with the perspective that only materializes with time, I realized that everything fell into place just as it should have....that if I had actually received what I thought I so desperately wanted, the outcome would have actually been very unfortunate. Only then did I breathe a sigh of relief and smile at my good fortune. Who knew?!
2016 happened to be one of those years where good fortune abounded for sure. You have all embraced the natural products we've worked so hard to develop and we've been lucky enough to work with supportive and helpful stockists. After so many long days and nights formulating, testing, dreaming, creating, packaging, posting, delivering, and occasionally sleeping, 407 Botanicals blossomed from a little seedling into a fully grown company.
